Ukrainian Delegation Visits Election Office

UKRAINIAN DELEGATION VISITS ELECTION OFFICE

The Gulf Coast Citizen Diplomacy Council arranged for a group of visitors from the Ukraine to tour the Supervisor of Elections Office.

Among the topics discussed during today’s visit were how elections and voting has changed in Florida and Escambia County, voting methods and security measures. Voting equipment was demonstrated and each visitor was able to vote in a demonstration election using the DS200 optical scan voting machine. Demonstrations of the iVotronic voting machine in both visual and audio mode as well as Absentee ballot tabulation were also provided.
