News Release: 2010 General Absentee Deadline

Wednesday, October 27th is the deadline to request an absentee ballot be mailed for the November 2, 2010 General Election. A voter will still have the ability after Wednesday to pick up an absentee ballot in person from the Elections Office.

Voted absentee ballots must be received in the Elections Office (not at a polling location) no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 2nd.

Absentee ballots may be requested using one of several methods:

Important: Absentee requests must include the voter’s date of birth and the address where the ballot is to be mailed.

Early Voting will also be available at our four locations throughout this week and on Saturday. Early Voting hours are 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.

Voters can also cast their ballot at their precinct on Election Day. Polls will be open on Election Day, November 2, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
