News Release- "Stay Connected" as the Election Draws Close

Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford announces a new mobile version of EscambiaVotes.com for smartphone and tablet users, which is designed to enhance navigation to the most requested information. The mobile site features quick links to:
• Am I Registered? 
• Where Do I Vote?
• Sample Ballot 
• Early Voting Info
• Vote by Mail 
• Track My Ballot
• And a quick link to all election results since 2006.

The polling location and early voting links connect with Google Maps to deliver maps and directions directly to your smartphone or tablet. The mobile site also includes simple, one touch access to the Elections Office by phone or e-mail. While the mobile application is the newest way to stay on track with the 2012 Election, the Escambia County Elections Office also uses Facebook and Twitter to keep citizens informed. Visit EscambiaVotes.com to find the links to our Facebook and Twitter pages, and follow/like us for the latest elections information.

Reminders:
• Registration books close on July 16. This is the last day to register to vote or to change your party before the August 14 Primary.

• Request to receive your ballot by mail. The elections office can process your request by phone, email or online. Ballots will be in the mail starting July 10.

• Early voting begins on August 4. There will be four locations throughout the county for voters to cast their ballot.

• Sample ballots are available online at EscambiaVotes.com.
