News Release- Our Mission:Your Vote

David H. Stafford, Escambia County Supervisor of Elections announced today that Escambia County is a partner in the Our Mission: Your Vote campaign. The voter outreach and public awareness campaign, intended to reach absent members of the US military and civilians located overseas, has kicked off in 13 Florida counties for the November 6 General Election. Our Mission: Your Vote is designed to provide the opportunity to vote using an online ballot delivery system, expediting the absentee voting process. The development of the online ballot delivery system is one of many steps being taken by Our Mission: Your Vote to increase voter confidence and ease voter concerns in the absentee process. The new online system cuts delivery time in half because voters can access their ballot shortly after a request is validated.

Other counties participating in Our Mission: Your Vote include Baker, Bay, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Escambia, Leon, Nassau, Okaloosa, Pinellas, Putnam, Sarasota and Wakulla.

Absentee ballots will be available for uniformed and overseas citizens no later than September 22. Reaching these voters and increasing their awareness of Our Mission: Your Vote is a top priority. Publicizing the project at military installations is underway at all 13 Supervisor of Elections offices. The public can support the project by spreading the word to their absent uniformed and overseas friends and loved ones. Requesting an online ballot is as easy as visiting www.OurMissionYourVote.us
