The City of Pensacola has just announced the closing of Spring Street between Garden and Cervantes streets for a period of nearly three weeks for conversion to two-way traffic, starting Thursday, November 1. The West Florida Public Library, located at 200 West Gregory Street, will remain open throughout this period. Voters who wish to cast their ballot early at this location can access the library via Wright Street, which runs east and west.
Voters can use Palafox or Barcelona (north/south) to access Wright Street, while Baylen can be used to head north from Garden Street.
The entrance off Gregory Street will remain closed due to library construction, however voters may continue to use the Spring Street entrance during normal library hours, as the sidewalk will remain open. At all other times, voters must use the Wright Street entrance.
Questions regarding the closure should be directed to the City of Pensacola at 850-435-5626.
