Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford today reminded voters who wish to be mailed an absentee ballot for the June 11 Special General Election to request their ballot no later than Wednesday, June 5. Voters can make their request by contacting the Supervisor of Elections by phone (850-595-3900), e-mail ([email protected]), mail, fax (850-595-3914), or by using the online form at EscambiaVotes.com. Requests must include the voter’s date of birth and address. Written requests must include the voter’s signature. Absentee voters may track their ballot status by clicking Track My Ballot at EscambiaVotes.com.
Please note that only registered voters in House District 2 are eligible to cast a ballot in this election. To determine if you are registered in House District 2, check your voter information card, visit EscambiaVotes.com, or call or e-mail the elections office.
After Wednesday, a voter may still pick up an absentee ballot in person from the Elections Office. Voted absentee ballots must be received in the Elections Office (not at a polling location) no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, June 11.
In addition to absentee voting, early voting is being offered from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily through Friday, and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday at three area locations:

A third option for voters is to cast a ballot at their precinct on Election Day – polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Any voters who need to change their address should contact the elections office prior to Election Day. Voters must present a photo and signature ID at the polls, or must vote a provisional ballot.
