News Release - Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa to Hold Joint Press Conference

PENSACOLA, Florida – Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford announces a joint press conference with fellow Supervisors of Election, Tappie Villane, Santa Rosa County and Paul Lux, Okaloosa County, to discuss the upcoming Presidential Preference Primary on Tuesday, March 15, 2016.

The press conference will be held on Monday, February 8, at 10:30 a.m. – Escambia County Supervisor of Elections Office, 213 Palafox Place, 2nd floor.

Topics will include: 
• Change in standards for delivery of absentee ballots 
• Tuesday, February 16, is registration and party change deadline 
• Only two parties are voting in the Presidential Preference Primary
• Equipment used for the election and what to expect – DS200 tabulator and EViD (electronic poll book) and AutoMARK, a ballot marking device
