Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford today released a brief “By the Numbers” report on the November 8, 2016 General Election. A few highlights include:
• More than 6 out of every 10 voters cast their ballot before Election Day
• The older the registrant, the more likely they were to vote
• The younger a voter, the more likely they were to vote on Election Day vs. early or by mail
• Almost 400 pieces of election equipment were deployed, and over 1.5 tons of ballots were cast
