Official Notice of Recount

OFFICIAL PUBLIC NOTICE OF RECOUNT
ESCAMBIA COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD FOR 
GENERAL ELECTION

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State has ordered a machine recount for the following races: 
• U.S. Senate,
• Governor, and 
• Florida Commissioner of Agriculture.

The Escambia County Canvassing Board will meet at Noon on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at 213 Palafox Place, Second Floor, Pensacola, Florida to conduct the recount.

If necessary, the Canvassing Board will continue the recount at 9:00 a.m. on the following dates until the recount is complete:
• Monday, November 12, 2018
• Tuesday, November 13, 2018
• Wednesday, November 14, 2018
• Thursday, November 15, 2018

In accordance with the Sunshine Laws of Florida, all Canvassing Board meetings are open to the public.

Note: Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, states that if a person decides to appeal any decision by a board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at a meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
