Register or change political parties today for the January 28 Special Primary Election
The registration and party change deadline for the January 28 Special Primary Election is today, December 30. Those who do not register before this deadline will be unable to vote in the Special Primary Election. This election is a Republican only primary, meaning only voters who are registered with the Republican Party are eligible to vote. If you wish to change your affiliation for the upcoming election, you must do so by December 30.
Registration and party changes can be made online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov prior to 11:00 p.m. Physical applications can be found at EscambiaVotes.gov and submitted by mail or in-person to our main office at 213 Palafox Place, 2nd Floor, Pensacola, Florida 32502. There are also applications available at our office. If you are mailing an application to register to vote or change your party affiliation, it must be postmarked by December 30.

3 Ways to Vote
Voters have three options to cast their ballot for the January 28 Special Primary:
- Vote-By-Mail: The deadline to request a mail-in ballot for the Primary Election is Thursday, January 16. All mail-in ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, January 28.
- Early Voting: Seven early vote sites will be available across Escambia County from Saturday, January 18 – Saturday, January 25. The sites will be open every day from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. A list of early vote sites can be found at Early Voting Locations.
- Election Day: Polls will be open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28 for the Special Primary Election. Voters must vote in their home precinct on Election Day. To find your precinct, visit Find My Precinct.
