Stafford has announced that the Early Voting hours for Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 29 have changed due to the anticipated impact of Hurricane Zeta to our area. The sample ballot, in both English and Spanish, includes a ballot image, the voter’s polling location and information on the 3 ways to vote: early, vote-by-mail, and on Election Day. The Escambia County Supervisor of Elections office received a directive from the Secretary of State, Laurel M. Lee, extending the voter registration deadline. Any applications received on Florida’s Online Voter Registration system today, October 6, before 6 p.m. Central Time, will be included in the registration for the November 3, 2020, General Election. Paper applications postmarked by today, Tuesday, October 6, will also be included. Additionally, any applications received in person today, Tuesday, October 6, 2020, before 7 p.m. local time, through the following channels will be accepted.

Today the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections began delivering vote-by-mail ballots to the U.S. Postal Service for voters who have requested them for the November 3 General Election. This is in addition to the more than 6,500 ballots sent to military and overseas voters last week. The initial mailing, which is approaching 60,000, will continue into next week.
