Governor Scott recently signed into law a host of election law changes passed by the Florida legislature. Among the changes are: new days and times for early voting, a new date for the primary election, new rules on third-party voter registration, and much more.

Wednesday, October 27th is the deadline to request an absentee ballot be mailed for the November 2, 2010 General Election. A voter will still have the ability after Wednesday to pick up an absentee ballot in person from the Elections Office.
Voted absentee ballots must be received in the Elections Office (not at a polling location) no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 2nd.
